2024 NFL Mock Draft: The Motor City Hosts the Best QB Class in Years

These intros are getting tougher and tougher to do.     The NFL Draft has become the launching point for Super Bowl contenders. Four years ago, the Bengals had the worst record in football. Two years later, they were in the Super Bowl. The Chiefs have won back-to-back Lombardis after drafting Patrick Mahomes 10th overall in 2017. The Ravens have become contenders on the back of their first round picks, and the Eagles have been able to rebuild their defense thanks to their strong drafts.     However, the draft also has its risks. We're still waiting to see if the Carolina Panthers made the right call by trading up for Bryce Young, last year's first overall pick. This year, with a handful of quarterbacks available in the first round, could we see another team make that jump? It's very possible, although the cost could be quite high.      It's time to look through the college ranks once again, as I make my annual mock draft. As is par for the course with my mocks, I d

Predicting Every 2024 Week One Starting QB in One Sentence or Less

2024 is a huge year for the signal caller. Not only are there several solid starters that may find new homes, but the 2024 NFL Draft is one of the best drafts for quarterbacks in quite some time. While draft season is still a few weeks away, the time for free agency is just around the corner. We're seven days away from the start of legal tampering, and that means the free agents are on the verge of making decisions that may not only change their careers, but change the league as well. Names like Chris Jones, Kirk Cousins, L'Jarius Sneed, Baker Mayfield, Christian Wilkins, and others are on the market.       When it comes to the Cousins and Mayfields of the group, 2024 could look a little different. It's been a yearly tradition to predict each team's quarterback for Week One about a week before free agency begins, and this year is no exception. Even though some picks are slam dunks, others are not as much. It's time to start the season off right with the 2024 ed

2023 NFL Mock Draft: A Cornerback and Wide Receiver Heavy Group Heads to Kansas City

This probably goes without saying, but I love the NFL Draft. Every year, countless NFL fans and analysts try to judge each little move to try and figure out what will happen the evening of April 26, and more often than not, the football world tends to surprise us. Who could have seen the Carolina Panthers jump all the way up to pick number one? It is almost guaranteed that more twists and turns will be seen over the next several days and weeks. My mock draft is getting released a little bit later than last year for several reasons. The first is the unknown status of Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson. The 2019 NFL MVP is in the midst of a contract dispute, and it is unknown whether he will suit up for the franchise, even after the addition of Odell Beckham Jr. Second, the third overall pick has generated quite a bit of trade buzz over the past few weeks. Whether or not the Arizona Cardinals will actually be picking third is still up in the air. With that said, here's my ann

Predicting Every 2023 Week One Starting QB in One Sentence or Less

I'm baaaaaaaacccckkk! It's been a hot minute since I've been active on this blog, but with several changes happening in my life, I decided to revive it for the time being. It's been a wild past couple of years for me, and I want to get back into making this blog a thing. With that said, I might do some pieces here that are things that I fancy: Disney, television, travelling, whatever the sort! Oh, and of course football! So expect some more frequent activity on TEJE (actually, that doesn't roll off the tongue as well. Let's stick with the EJ Experience). There's two offseason NFL pieces that I like to do every year: my mock draft and the QB carousel in a sentence or less. With the conclusion of the Super Bowl on Sunday, I decided to do my Every Team's Week One QB in a Sentence or Less early this year. I received some flack for doing it too late last year, and rightfully so. As I published it, Carson Wentz was en route to Washington. Let's kick off th

2021 NFL Mock Draft: Quarterbacks Fly Early, but the Field Has Tough Decisions to Make

On a personal level, t he NFL Draft will always be one of the best times of the year. I love seeing all of the little nuances that every team goes through to make sure that they get the guy they want. This year, the NFL Draft will be in Cleveland, where Browns fans are going to be rocking and rolling. Some of the picks at the front are cut and dry, while others, not so much. Let's do this for yet another go round, my 2021 NFL Mock Draft. 1. Jacksonville Jaguars - QB Trevor Lawrence (Clemson)      Surprise! Yeah, not really. The Jaguars ensured they would be one of the worst teams in football to get the long blond locks of Lawrence. Many think that he could turn into the next Peyton Manning; the man that can turn Jacksonville around. We're already seeing the ramifications of T-Law going to the Jags, as they have brought in free agents. One of the most hyped up prospects in decades, Lawrence is going to be rocking the teal and black for most of his career. 2. New York Jets -
